GOLFERS
Specialized Care for Golfers & Rotational Athletes
One of the things that truly separates Uintah Spinal Health from many traditional chiropractic and sports medicine clinics is our specialized focus on rotational athletes, especially golfers.
Golf is one of the most physically demanding rotational sports on the body. The golf swing places tremendous stress on the:
- Spine
- Hips
- Rib cage
- Shoulders
- Wrists
- Elbows
- Core musculature
Without proper mobility, stability, recovery, and movement mechanics, golfers often develop:
- Low back pain
- Hip pain
- Rib dysfunction
- Golfer’s elbow
- Shoulder pain
- Swing limitations
- Reduced power and consistency
At Uintah Spinal Health, we do not simply treat pain — we evaluate how the body moves as a complete system and how those movement limitations affect performance, recovery, and longevity.
Experience Treating Golfers at the Highest Level
Dr. Jared Wadsworth has spent years specializing in golf performance, injury recovery, and rotational athlete care.
In addition to helping golfers throughout Utah County, Dr. Wadsworth has traveled on the professional golf circuit treating golfers at the highest level of competition, including working with professional athletes connected to the PGA Tour environment.
This experience has provided unique insight into:
- Golf biomechanics
- Rotational power generation
- Recovery optimization
- Mobility restrictions
- Performance longevity
- Injury prevention for golfers
Working with elite golfers reinforced an important principle:
Every golfer’s body, swing, mobility limitations, and recovery needs are different.
That philosophy now drives the individualized treatment approach we use every day at Uintah Spinal Health.

Helping Golfers Stay Healthy for the Long Term
Many golfers are told to simply:

Our philosophy is different.
We believe the body is adaptable when given:
- The right treatment
- The right movement strategy
- The right recovery plan
- The right performance guidance
At Uintah Spinal Health, we help golfers not only recover from injuries, but also build resilience, improve longevity, and continue performing at their best.
Our clinic is conveniently located near Sleepy Ridge Golf Course in Vineyard, allowing us to work closely with golfers and active athletes throughout:

We know how fun the golf game can be. But some minor injuries or skill level can inhibit your ability to continue to play it like you would like to. As a Certified Titleist Performance Institute Medical Provider, we want to bring you the care that the top professional golfers utilize and give that same care to the Utah golfing community.
TPI is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. With the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) each golfer goes through a specific golfing swing assessment to find the movement pattern that would be causing your pain and correcting it with manual therapy and corrective exercises. The end goal is to not only help you recover from injury but to help you get back to the greens as soon as possible and to be able to do it longer and at a higher level. Want to learn more about TPI? TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.
Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional Tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.
The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.
TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the Body-Swing Connection™ through its one of a kind ‘TPI Certified’ educational program. This program was developed by founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips along with a 52 member advisory staff of industry leading experts. Five unique fields of study are offered for TPI Certification: Golf, Medical, Fitness, Power and Junior Development. Currently, there are over 19,000 TPI Certified professionals in 63 countries assisting players of all skill levels.
